A martyr who, in the darkest years of the 20th century, dedicated all her strength and abilities to the service of God, bringing hope to those in need, to those who had drifted from the faith, and to people suffering through the horrors of war. She was Mária Magdolna Bódi – or as everyone called her, Magdi – who gave her life for Christ at the age of 24.
Magdi found great inspiration in Jesuit spirituality. She preferred silent contemplation over spoken prayers, often in the quiet of a church or nature.
