Beatification in Veszprém on April 26, 2025, the Veszprém Arena.
A martyr who, during the darkest years of the 20th century, dedicated all her strength and abilities to the service of God, giving hope to those in need, those who had drifted away from the faith, and those suffering through the horrors of war. She was Mária Magdolna Bódi – or as everyone called her, Magdi – who at the age of 24 gave her life for Christ.
As the day of Bódi Mária Magdolna’s beatification draws near, the Archdiocese of Veszprém is launching another creative initiative to bring Magdi’s example closer to the hearts of the faithful—especially young people.
