As September 6th—the solemn day of Bódi Mária Magdolna’s beatification—draws near, the Archdiocese of Veszprém is preparing for this grace-filled occasion with a special video series. In these short films, both young and old, children and adults, share why Magdi is important to them, which story touched them the most, and what her example means in their everyday lives.
These personal testimonies show that Magdi is not just a figure of the past—her life continues to speak to us today, offering direction and hope. The people featured in the videos come from many walks of life: catechism students, teachers, priests, mothers, youth, and the elderly. Each connects to Magdi in a different way, yet all share the same simple and sincere love for her in their hearts.
The aim of the series is to help as many people as possible encounter Magdi’s spirit in the lead-up to her beatification—even if just through a single thought that might bear fruit in their own lives.
