Litany of Blessed M\u00e1ria Magdolna B\u00f3di<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Introduction to the Litany<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the Litany of the Venerable Servant of God, M\u00e1ria Magdolna B\u00f3di<\/strong>, we address Jesus<\/strong> rather than Magdi herself.
This form of prayer certainly reflects her own humility and simplicity, for Jesus was her everything.<\/em><\/p>\n

At first, we contemplate those attributes of our Lord Jesus which particularly inspired Magdi\u2019s spirituality:
Jesus, who chose to be born in poverty; whose every desire was to fulfill the will of His Father; who often withdrew to pray; who lived in virginity and worked with His hands in His youth.
Jesus, who lovingly embraced and blessed the children, who admired the lilies of the field, who as the Good Shepherd sought out the lost sheep and carried it home.
Jesus, who healed the sick, proclaimed the Good News of His Kingdom, and by His holy Cross redeemed the world, teaching us to carry our own crosses.
Jesus, who guides us by His Holy Spirit and desires to reign as King in our hearts.
We also recall His women disciples, especially Mary Magdalene, so that we may better understand the vocation Magdi received from Him. Relevant passages of Holy Scripture accompany these reflections.<\/p>\n

Then we invoke the intercession of saints whose example Magdi eagerly followed and whose prayers she often sought. Among them, Blessed S\u00e1ra Salkah\u00e1zi<\/strong>, who very likely assisted in Magdi\u2019s training as a member of the Catholic Women\u2019s Association in 1944.<\/p>\n

Afterward, we ask God\u2019s protection against sin \u2014 particularly in those areas where Magdi strove fervently for her own conversion and for that of her companions.
For it is sin that prevents us from growing in divine grace as she did.<\/p>\n

We then reflect on the sources of grace that filled Magdi\u2019s life with joy:
deep prayer, regular confession and Holy Communion, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Finally, we pray for the strengthening of the virtues she so faithfully practiced: love, diligence, selfless service, purity of heart, and perseverance.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, we implore the grace to follow Jesus\u2019 call with our whole heart, that we too may attain the happiness He has promised.<\/p>\n

Through her intercession, grant that we too may follow Your call with all our hearts,
