Several \u201cMagdi\u201d bicycles have already found new owners following the beatification on September 6. Most recently, one of the bicycles was received by G\u00e1bor T\u00f3th from Budapest, a member of the Zugliget Holy Family Parish community.<\/p>\n
G\u00e1bor shared that when he registered for the beatification, he was so focused on filling in his details correctly that he almost completely forgot about the bicycle raffle. \u201cMy wife reminded me of it, and when I received an email notification from the Archdiocese of Veszpr\u00e9m, at first I didn\u2019t even take it seriously. But when I realized it was really true, it was deeply moving to experience that\u2014through the intercession of Blessed M\u00e1ria Magdolna B\u00f3di\u2014I had won a bicycle,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n The prize also carries a special personal meaning for the family. Each summer, G\u00e1bor and his loved ones spend time in Balatonf\u0171zf\u0151 and regularly attend Mass at the Sacred Heart Parish Church, where Father Norbert Laposa serves\u2014the same church Blessed Magdi once attended. Three years ago, they first heard about local initiatives such as the 50-hour Eucharistic Adoration and the BALAKAT youth program, which the family always makes a point to visit. \u201cThrough these, our bond with Blessed M\u00e1ria Magdolna has grown stronger and stronger. It was a wonderful experience to learn about her life, and an uplifting grace to be present at her beatification,\u201d<\/em> G\u00e1bor shared.<\/p>\n The \u201cMagdi\u201d bicycles are not just gifts; they carry on the legacy of Blessed Magdi, who often rode her own bicycle to serve, to help others, and to proclaim Christ. This is something well known also to N\u00f3ra Zsanett Vas, who became the joyful owner of the bicycle inscribed with the word \u201cMartyrdom.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n We trust that each of these bicycles will serve as both a reminder and an invitation to their new owners: to set out on the road with Magdi\u2014in body and in spirit.<\/p>\n
